AFPI Eligibility (Maharaja Ranjit Singh Academy, Mohali)

To apply for the AFPI Mohali entrance exam at the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Academy (MRSAFPI), a candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria for the Class 10th-level entry.

AFPI eligibility criteria

1. The candidate must be a resident of Punjab.
2. The candidate must be appearing for the Class X board examination. A candidate who has already passed Class X and is presently studying in Class XI may also apply, provided they meet the age criteria — such candidates will be required to repeat Class XI if selected.
3. The candidate must be physically fit according to the physical standards set by the authority.
4. The candidate must be desirous of joining the National Defence Academy (NDA).
5. Age: the candidate must not be more than 17 years. The exact cut-off date of birth is published in the annual advertisement.

Eligible boards

A candidate studying in any recognised board — CBSE, ICSE or PSEB — may appear in the entrance test.

Documents to keep ready for the interview

• Date of Birth certificate
• Residence (domicile) certificate of Punjab
• Certificate of proficiency in sports, if any
• School certificate showing marks obtained in Class 9th and Class 10th
